Hi Children's and Teen Librarians,
Several new movies are coming up in the Fall that are from Teen and Kids books. I'll be ordering more copies of the books for the library so those movie goers will have enough copies to read after they've seen the movie.
Some of the movies are ;
Where the Wild Things Are
Tin Tin
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Cirque du Freak
The Lovely Bones (not a Teen title but I think it has a lot of teen readers)
Precious - based on the novel Push
Also in movie news, there is a new movie coming out in October called 'Whip It' produced by Drew Barrymore and starring Ellen Page that's from a teen book and looks like a fun movie,
I am ordering lots of copies of the book and when the movie hits DVD I'll order that too.
Thank you to the Green Valley Friends group who generously gave thousands of dollars to our materials budget this year!
