Jan. 19, 2009 is the 200th birthday of Edgar Allan Poe and there will be special events around the country to commemorate his birth and his writing.
I have recently ordered some Poe DVDs for the system for teens including;
Tomb of Ligeia/Evening of Edgar Allan Poe (Vincent Price in a Reader's Theater presentation)
The Tell Tale Heart (American Story Collection) and
The Murders in the Rue Morgue/ The Hound of the Baskervilles (Val Kilmer)
